Wantai total Ab ELISA was recommended by WHO: Population-based age-stratified seroepidemiological investigation protocol for COVID-19 virus infection
On May 26th, 2020, WHO published version 2 of “Population-based age-stratified seroepidemiological investigation protocol for COVID-19 virus infection”. (https://www.who.int/publications-detail/population-based-age-stratified-seroepidemiological-investigation-protocol-for-covid-19-virus-infection) . The purpose of this protocol is the investigation of the extent of infection, by through detection the seropositivity in the general population, in any country where COVID-19 virus infection has been reported.

It is remarkable that, in Chap 2.6.3 serological testing, the protocol specially recommend Wantai total Ab ELISA and the Euroimmun IgG ELISA, said "the best performing commercial kits are the Wantai total Ab ELISA, and the Euroimmun IgG ELISA, according to latest validation data."
